Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) environments.
- Implement and monitor robust security protocols and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Lead the administration of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions for government applications.
- Conduct regular system audits, backups, and disaster recovery planning exercises.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CCNA, or RHCE.
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and obtain required government security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
