Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions and integrations for state agencies.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Lead code reviews, provide technical mentorship to junior staff, and ensure adherence to software development best practices.
- Maintain and optimize legacy systems while migrating critical data to modern cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation to guarantee data accuracy and security compliance.
- Document technical processes and create user manuals for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# and database technologies (SQL, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and government security compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a large-scale, high-availability environment is highly preferred.
