Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and technical requirements to recommend optimal IT solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement complex software applications and system architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and data integrity.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff and developers.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates or patches.
- Manage project lifecycles from initiation through deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government regulations and security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server).
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
