Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system architecture and software development.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from conception to deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure system security compliance, including adherence to federal standards and data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy systems with modern cloud-based technologies.
- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of critical government applications.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and developers on the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software engineering, or IT consulting within the public sector.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
