Responsibilities
- System Analysis & Design: Analyze complex government requirements and design scalable IT solutions to improve public service delivery.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring strict adherence to federal and state compliance standards.
- Data Security & Integrity: Implement robust security protocols to safeguard sensitive citizen data and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and government officials, translating technical jargon into actionable business insights.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot critical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime for essential city services.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Certifications: PMP, ITIL, or CompTIA Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong verbal communication skills.
