Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable IT architectures for federal government projects.
- Conduct system integration testing, validation, and performance tuning.
- Ensure full compliance with federal standards such as NIST, FISMA, and CUI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers and program managers.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Document system requirements, designs, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering within the federal sector.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and network protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
