Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects
- Conduct traffic analysis and transportation planning studies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and contractor coordination
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation
- Experience with transportation modeling software (e.g., TransCAD)
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Knowledge of NCDOT design standards and FHWA regulations
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
