Responsibilities
- Lead complex transportation planning initiatives for Seattle metropolitan area projects
- Analyze multimodal transportation data using GIS and statistical modeling tools
- Develop comprehensive corridor studies and long-range transportation plans
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure regulatory compliance
- Present findings to stakeholders, policymakers, and community advisory groups
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Prepare NEPA documentation and environmental impact assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive transportation planning experience
- Advanced proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS Pro) and transportation modeling software
- Demonstrated expertise in environmental review processes (NEPA, SEPA)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities
- Excellent public speaking and stakeholder engagement skills
- Valid Washington State driver's license
