Responsibilities
- Operate advanced X-ray, CT, and millimeter-wave screening equipment to detect prohibited items
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screening procedures with meticulous attention to detail
- Execute pat-down searches and explosive trace detection protocols as required
- Monitor airport security checkpoints with heightened situational awareness
- Enforce TSA security regulations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Participate in continuous training on emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TSA security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security, law enforcement, or military experience
- Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass TSA background investigation and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
