Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive neighborhood revitalization plans aligned with Boston's 2030 master vision
- Analyze zoning regulations and propose policy reforms to promote equitable development
- Lead public engagement initiatives for major infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with state agencies on environmental compliance reviews
- Manage capital improvement budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Prepare technical reports for city council hearings and community meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of municipal planning experience with zoning expertise
- Proficiency in GIS software and CAD drafting tools
- Proven track record in community engagement facilitation
- Knowledge of Massachusetts environmental regulations (MGL Ch. 131)
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- LEED AP certification preferred
