Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including graphic designers, project managers, and subject matter experts—to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure all web content is accessible, compliant with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
- Perform code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and participate in agile development ceremonies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems to ensure 99.9% uptime and data integrity.
- Implement best practices for security, data privacy, and performance optimization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating front-end and back-end proficiency.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of API development (RESTful services) and integration.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) commonly used in government, such as Drupal or WordPress.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
