Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets from federal and state sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar visualization tools to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and ensure analytical accuracy.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance with federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST) throughout the data lifecycle.
- Perform statistical modeling and forecasting to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Document data processes and analytical methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and data manipulation.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (or higher) is required.
