Responsibilities

- Analyze traffic patterns and transit data using GIS and modeling software
- Collaborate with federal, state, and municipal agencies on infrastructure projects
- Develop sustainability strategies for reducing emissions and improving accessibility
- Prepare detailed reports and policy recommendations for legislative review
- Manage multimodal transportation initiatives including bike/pedestrian pathways
- Oversee environmental compliance documentation for DOT projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of transportation planning experience with government agencies
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS) and traffic modeling tools
- Knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations (MAP-21, NEPA)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation expertise
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder presentations
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Experience with transit-oriented development projects preferred
