Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of corridor-level transportation plans for major infrastructure projects
- Coordinate NEPA/CEQA compliance processes including environmental impact reports and mitigation measures
- Analyze multimodal transportation data using GIS, travel demand modeling, and performance metrics
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and public hearings to gather community input
- Prepare grant applications and funding proposals for state and federal programs
- Manage project budgets and timelines for planning studies and design phases
- Mentor junior planners and supervise consultant work products
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive transportation planning experience
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS Pro) and transportation modeling tools
- Expert knowledge of California transportation regulations and funding programs
- Proven experience managing complex NEPA/CEQA documentation
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and public audiences
- Valid California driver's license
