Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain critical state agency network infrastructure and servers.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex hardware and software issues.
- Conduct system audits and performance tuning to optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Document technical processes and maintain detailed incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred.
- Experience working in the Federal, State, or Local Government sector is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching protocols.
- Ability to obtain a State of Texas Level 2 Background Check.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
