Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects
- Conduct traffic analysis and impact studies for urban development
- Coordinate with local municipalities and federal agencies
- Manage construction contracts and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Prepare technical reports and engineering specifications
- Utilize CAD/GIS software for project visualization
- Participate in public outreach and community engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and transportation modeling software
- Familiarity with WisDOT design standards and FHWA regulations
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
