Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects
- Manage multimillion-dollar budgets and ensure strict compliance with TxDOT/Federal standards
- Lead cross-functional teams including contractors, consultants, and agency partners
- Conduct traffic analysis, environmental impact studies, and feasibility assessments
- Resolve complex engineering challenges using innovative solutions
- Prepare detailed construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Ensure all projects meet safety, accessibility, and sustainability requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program
- 5+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and transportation modeling software
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT design standards and federal regulations
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
