Responsibilities
- Manage complex highway/bridge design projects from conception to completion
- Oversee environmental compliance and permitting processes
- Conduct traffic impact studies and develop mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with local governments, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to TxDOT standards and federal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and transportation modeling software
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT design standards and MUTCD
