Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects
- Conduct traffic studies and impact analyses for urban corridors
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and contractor relationships
- Ensure compliance with federal/state transportation regulations
- Utilize GIS/CAD software for engineering documentation
- Collaborate with interagency partners on regional transportation planning
- Prepare technical reports and permit applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- PE license (Nevada) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 3+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and traffic modeling software
- Familiarity with FHWA/NDOT design standards
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Experience with federal grant-funded projects
- Valid Nevada driver's license
