Responsibilities
- Design and oversee construction of highways, bridges, and transportation networks
- Analyze traffic data to optimize flow and safety
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, and specifications
- Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Conduct field inspections and quality control
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software
- Strong knowledge of MUTCD and KDOT standards
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to work in field conditions and travel statewide
