Responsibilities
- Lead design and review of highway, bridge, and traffic control systems
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, and specifications
- Conduct field inspections and ensure construction compliance
- Coordinate with local agencies, contractors, and stakeholders
- Apply advanced traffic modeling and simulation software
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and traffic analysis tools
- Familiarity with TxDOT design standards and policies
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Texas driver's license
