Responsibilities
- Design transportation infrastructure plans including highways, bridges, and traffic systems
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to recommend safety enhancements
- Oversee project implementation ensuring compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations
- Prepare engineering specifications, cost estimates, and progress reports
- Coordinate with contractors, municipalities, and federal agencies
- Review engineering plans and conduct field inspections
- Manage project timelines and budgets using engineering software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
- Valid Oklahoma PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 3+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and traffic modeling software
- Strong knowledge of MUTCD and AASHTO standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance for federal projects
