Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects
- Lead environmental compliance reviews and NEPA documentation processes
- Manage project budgets exceeding $10M with rigorous fiscal oversight
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies for permitting approvals
- Conduct traffic impact studies and transportation modeling analyses
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable transportation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington State
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and transportation modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with federal/state transportation regulations
- Strong project management and budget oversight abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance for sensitive projects
