Responsibilities
- Oversee design and implementation of highway/bridge projects in Tarrant County
- Conduct traffic impact studies and congestion mitigation analysis
- Manage project budgets exceeding $5M with strict compliance protocols
- Coordinate with federal, state, and municipal agencies
- Review engineering plans for ADA and TxDOT compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training
- Utilize Auto Civil 3D and GIS for modeling and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation
- TxDOT Project Management certification preferred
- Experience with TxDOT Design and Construction Manual
- Strong knowledge of FHWA and TCEQ regulations
- Valid Texas Driver's License
