Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway/bridge construction projects in Indianapolis metropolitan area
- Conduct traffic analysis and impact studies for urban infrastructure
- Manage project budgets and compliance with INDOT/Federal standards
- Collaborate with local municipalities on transportation planning initiatives
- Prepare engineering reports and permitting documentation
- Lead field inspections and quality assurance protocols
- Mentor junior engineers on technical best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and transportation modeling software
- Familiarity with INDOT design standards and FHWA regulations
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Experience with NEPA documentation preferred
