Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections and surveys for transportation projects
- Prepare engineering drawings and technical documentation using CAD software
- Analyze traffic flow patterns and recommend infrastructure improvements
- Coordinate with contractors and local government agencies
- Ensure compliance with federal/state transportation regulations
- Assist in project budgeting and scheduling
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software
- Kansas Class D Driver's License (CDL preferred)
- Knowledge of MUTCD standards and KDOT specifications
- Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license within 2 years
