Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray screening equipment to detect prohibited items in carry-on and checked baggage.
- Screen passengers and their personal items to ensure compliance with TSA security regulations.
- Assist travelers with accessibility needs and provide exceptional customer service at checkpoints.
- Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and perform random screenings as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized screening checkpoint environment.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship or National status.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and security clearance process.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
