Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items using X-ray technology and metal detectors.
- Perform thorough pat-downs and physical searches to ensure security compliance.
- Assist travelers with accessibility needs and provide excellent customer service in a high-volume environment.
- Monitor screening lanes to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Document security incidents and report irregularities to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and background investigation.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
