Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screening of passengers and carry-on baggage using advanced imaging technology and walk-through metal detectors.
- Enforce security regulations and policies to ensure the safety of the traveling public.
- Identify and resolve security threats while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist travelers with inquiries regarding the screening process.
- Collaborate with fellow security officers to maintain a secure environment.
- Document all screening activities and report any anomalies immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening.
- Must be able to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
