Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using X-ray machines and advanced imaging technology.
- Identify prohibited items and report any security breaches or irregularities immediately.
- Interact professionally with passengers, providing clear instructions and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain strict adherence to TSA security protocols and regulations at all times.
- Operate and perform basic maintenance on screening equipment and explosive trace detection units.
- Perform bag checks, pat-downs, and body scans as required by security directives.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to ensure efficient passenger flow and security.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be able to speak and understand English clearly for safety communication.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screen, and medical exam.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
