Responsibilities
- Operate advanced X-ray screening equipment and explosive trace detection systems to identify prohibited items.
- Conduct security screenings of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform thorough pat-down searches and body scans to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Assist travelers with accessibility needs and resolve security-related inquiries efficiently.
- Adhere to all TSA regulations, security directives, and safety procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with fellow screeners and supervisors to maintain high security standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Ability to pass a mandatory background check, including fingerprinting and security clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Must be able to pass a medical examination and drug screening.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting heavy bags.
