As a TSA Security Screener, you will serve on the front lines of aviation security at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). You will ensure the safety and security of passengers, employees, and infrastructure while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray screening equipment to detect prohibited items in carry-on and checked baggage.
- Conduct physical pat-downs and wanding of passengers as required by strict security regulations.
- Enforce security protocols and identify potential threats to airport safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with inquiries and directions.
- Monitor security checkpoint operations and report any irregularities immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while adhering to grooming standards.
- Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for all TSA positions.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a fingerprint-based criminal history background check and a drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including early mornings and late nights.
