Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage at security checkpoints using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections when required
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes for compliance with TSA regulations
- Operate advanced security technology including explosive detection systems
- Respond to security incidents with calm professionalism and follow established protocols
- Maintain accurate records of screening activities and security observations

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic English proficiency for reading instructions and communicating with travelers
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
