Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, council minutes, and public document archives with precision
- Oversee municipal elections, voter registration, and ballot administration
- Coordinate public records requests ensuring compliance with Ohio Sunshine Laws
- Administer oaths of office and maintain official city seals
- Prepare legislative agendas and support City Council meetings
- Lead records digitization initiatives for enhanced public access
- Ensure compliance with state and federal record-keeping regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 5+ years municipal clerk or records management experience
- Ohio Notary Public certification or ability to obtain immediately
- Proficiency in records management software (e.g., Laserfiche, DocuWare)
- Deep knowledge of Ohio election laws and municipal procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid Ohio driver's license
