- Ensure compliance with state open meeting laws and public disclosure requirements
- Lead digital transformation of records systems and document automation
- Suppose clerical staff and manage interdepartmental communications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years municipal government experience with records management
- Expertise in Washington State public records laws (RCW 42.56)
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Proven leadership in election administration or legislative processes
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation strongly preferred
