Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users across various county departments.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, printers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure 24/7 operational uptime.
- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies and compliance standards.
- Document technical processes and create user guides to improve departmental efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors and external agencies to resolve complex technical issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
- Valid North Carolina Driverβs License and reliable transportation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of government IT regulations and data privacy standards is highly desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
