Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware and software systems.
- Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security standards, including NIST and FISMA.
- Document all system configurations, incidents, and resolutions in the Service Desk Management system.
- Install, configure, and deploy new workstations and mobile devices for federal employees.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to monitor for threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen for federal employment eligibility.
- Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration within a government or corporate environment.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA certification is highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills required to interact with senior federal officials.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
