Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal network infrastructure and hardware systems.
- Manage and secure Windows and Linux server environments in compliance with federal security standards (NIST).
- Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and implement patches to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in the configuration of firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives for federal agencies.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate incident reports for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active Secret or Top Secret clearance (US Citizen).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with TCP/IP, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and cloud services (Azure/Google Cloud).
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP preferred.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
