Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with government procurement policies and regulations
- Conduct internal audits of departmental operations and financial records
- Investigate reported violations and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for city employees
- Collaborate with legal counsel to address regulatory changes
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Stay current on evolving federal and state compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of government compliance or auditing experience
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in compliance software (e.g., LogicGate, Compliance.ai)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- U.S. citizenship required for government clearance
