Responsibilities
- Analyze and Design: Conduct thorough analysis of existing government systems to identify inefficiencies and propose modernized architectural solutions.
- System Implementation: Oversee the deployment of new software and hardware systems, ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Data Management: Ensure the security, accuracy, and integrity of sensitive government data and citizen information.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and non-technical government officials, translating complex requirements into actionable tasks.
- Security Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to cybersecurity protocols and audit requirements (FISMA/NIST standards).
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system requirements, user manuals, and change logs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in systems analysis, specifically within the government or public sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C#. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is highly preferred.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
