Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of federal IT systems against NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Oversee documentation processes for security compliance and risk management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities.
- Monitor legislative changes at the federal level and assess impact on current operations.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior leadership and government stakeholders.
- Train internal staff on cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal compliance or information security.
- Certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of NIST 800-171 and FedRAMP requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
