Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure federal IT systems and network architectures.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services and legacy systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and system administration for mission-critical applications.
- Prepare technical documentation, white papers, and system architecture diagrams.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity protocols and NIST compliance frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting or government IT services.
- Proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
