Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced federal network security architectures.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Develop and execute incident response plans for cybersecurity threats and intrusions.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal standards, including NIST, FISMA, and DoD requirements.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline IT operations and improve system performance.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance required (or ability to obtain).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or DoD contracting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet firewalls; strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
