Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local and wide-area network infrastructure within the Houston facility.
- Implement and troubleshoot server hardware, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
- Ensure 99.99% uptime for critical government applications through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Configure firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy IT solutions that meet compliance standards (FISMA, FedRAMP).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Active Top Secret or Secret clearance is required for this role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a government contracting environment.
