Responsibilities
- Oversee official city records, minutes, and legislative documentation
- Manage public records requests and ensure compliance with open records laws
- Coordinate municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Administer oaths of office and maintain official city seals
- Serve as clerk to the Louisville Metro Council
- Develop and maintain record-keeping systems
- Liaise with city departments and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal or government experience
- Proficiency with records management systems (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Kentucky Notary Public certification required
- Expertise in public records laws and parliamentary procedure
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
