Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal IT infrastructure during night shifts to ensure 24/7 operational continuity and minimal downtime.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics for network, server, and hardware issues.
- Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards for handling classified information.
- Document system logs, incident reports, and resolution procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with day-shift leads to transfer knowledge and resolve complex technical escalations.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and system updates.
- Provide technical support to internal federal personnel remotely and in-person.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI).
- Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal or government contracting environments.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and network security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
