Responsibilities
- Process and disburse accurate weekly paychecks for federal contractors and employees located in Florida.
- Calculate and withhold all applicable federal and Florida state payroll taxes, ensuring full compliance.
- Maintain precise payroll records and timesheets for the Florida office, auditing weekly submissions.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and investigate pay issues related to weekly cycles.
- Ensure strict adherence to US Federal labor laws, OSHA regulations, and FLSA guidelines.
- Collaborate with the HR team to update employee status changes affecting weekly pay.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in US Federal payroll processing or a similar role.
- Deep understanding of Florida state labor laws and US federal wage and hour regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between UK management and Florida staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or HR preferred.
