Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect and process outgoing mail and packages from the public.
- Sort mail on the vehicle and at the station according to the delivery sequence.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, address changes, and undeliverable mail.
- Ensure the safety of the mail and the public while operating a vehicle.
- Perform duties in all weather conditions, including rain, heat, and snow.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
- A valid driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and accessing systems.
