Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming mail and packages efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver mail and parcels to customers' doorsteps, regardless of weather conditions.
- Obtain required signatures for Certified Mail and collect payment for C.O.D. items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle and equipment.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve delivery issues and answer inquiries.
- Follow strict time schedules and postal regulations to ensure on-time delivery.
- Handle and transport hazardous materials and sensitive documents with the utmost security.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical fitness to handle walking, standing, and bending for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
