Responsibilities
- Sort and process mail accurately and efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
- Load and unload packages and letters from delivery vehicles.
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers along a designated route.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Update tracking information and maintain delivery logs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat).
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
